Our masters all \u2013 a godly crew

\nTheir sympathies assure us, too,

\nMost generous souls, but please observe,
\n What they enjoy from birth,
\nIs all we ever had the nerve
\n To ask, that is, THE EARTH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Labour Fakir, full of guile,
\n Such doctrine ever preaches,
\nAnd, whilst he bleeds the rank and file,
\n Tame moderation teaches.
\nYet, in his despite, we\u2019ll see the day
\n When, with sword in its girth,
\nLabour shall march in war array,
\n To seize its own, THE EARTH:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Labour long with groans and tears
\n To its oppressors knelt,
\nBut, never yet to aught save fears
\n Did hear of tyrant melt.
\nWe need not kneel; our cause is high,
\n Of true men there\u2019s no dearth,
\nAnd our victorious rallying cry
